For the TJ Tillman project, the strategic opportunity was to heal the antagonizing pain of isolation felt by his community. Our diagnosis was that while people understood what he did, they hadn't been given the emotional permission to join the fight. The solution was to architect a film that served as a rallying cry, moving TJ from a consultant on a screen to a leader in the trenches. This wasn't a vitamin; it was a painkiller. The creative decision to film at the state government buildings, the very source of their anxiety—was the active ingredient, transforming the film from a lesson into a living demonstration of remedy.
